

Roland Holz

Roland Holz has been working for FTI-Andersch Assurance GmbH WPG since November 2025 and is in charge of the German tax department.
He is a tax advisor with more than 20 years of experience, which he gained while working for international tax and auditing firms in Mannheim, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and New York. Among other roles, he led the Global Service Line M&A at one of the largest German tax advisory firms for more than five years.
Since then, Roland Holz has focused on providing comprehensive support to his clients in domestic as well as cross-border M&A transactions, on both the buyer and the seller side. He offers extensive experience in tax structuring, tax due diligence, and contract negotiations in complex situations. His contributions to value creation range from tax assistance during an exit, e.g. upon a carve-out, avoiding risks and capitalizing on opportunities during acquisitions through tax optimized post-deal integration projects.
In addition to his experience in M&A situations, Roland Holz has also supported numerous financial restructurings, refinancings, trustee arrangements, insolvencies, and liquidations through tax analysis and the structuring of various options.
After graduating as a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Mannheim, his professional career took him from working as an audit assistant from 2005 to 2007 to specializing in taxes in transactions and restructurings starting in 2008 in the tax department of a leading international audit firm. He was appointed as a tax advisor in February 2009.
Roland Holz is married, has two children, and lives with his family in Düsseldorf.
